Indoor bowls is a sport played on a high-quality synthetic carpet surface. Unlike the outdoor game, it is played in a climate-controlled environment, making it a perfect winter activity regardless of the Welsh weather. Games can be played as singles, pairs, triples, or teams of four.
How can I join?

What if I’ve never played before?
We love introducing new people to the sport. We offer free coaching sessions with our qualified instructors and free equipment hire (both bowls and shoes) so you can try the game before making any commitment.
Where are you located?
We are located in the heart of the town at the Bridgend Indoor Bowls Centre, situated within the Bridgend Life Centre on Angel Street (CF31 4AH). Our central location makes us easily accessible for bowlers from Bridgend, Porthcawl, Pencoed, Sarn, Brackla, and the surrounding Llynfi, Garw, and Ogmore valleys.
What age groups can join?

Is there a dress code?
For casual "roll-up" sessions and coaching, comfortable clothing and flat-soled shoes are all you need. For competitive league matches, we follow standard club and national dress codes, which our stewards can explain when you join.
